Equal parts of everything (except vanilla extract) in grams.

egg whites

melted unsalted butter (cooled to room temperature )

powdered sugar

all-purpose flour

vanilla extract

How to make Feuilletine?

Step 1: Melt the Butter

Start by melting the butter in a saucepan over low heat. Once the butter is completely melted, remove the saucepan from the heat, let it cool slightly, and mix it with egg whites.

Step 2: Add Flour and Sugar

Gradually add the sifted flour and powdered sugar to the egg whites and melted butter, and whisk well to combine.

Step 3: Spread the Batter

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Spread the batter thinly and evenly onto the parchment paper using a spatula or the back of a spoon.

Step 4: Bake

Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C). Place the baking sheet with the batter in the preheated oven and bake for about 8-10 minutes, or until the feuilletine turns golden brown and crispy.

Step 5: Cool and Break Into Pieces
